Murder of Waqas Masih in Sialkot
On July 9, 2026, Waqas Masih was fatally attacked in Fateh Gar, District Sialkot, following a dispute over borrowed money. According to the information provided to OLA, Muhammad Qaiser allegedly attacked Waqas multiple times with scissors, causing fatal injuries. Waqas died at the scene. Police registered an FIR against the accused on the same day.
Following the incident, the Organization for Legal Aid (OLA) visited Waqas Masih’s family to offer condolences and provide moral and legal support. The family subsequently entrusted the matter to OLA for legal assistance and representation in pursuing the case and seeking justice.
OLA is assisting the family through the legal process and will continue to provide support as the case progresses.
